COVID Guidelines for Fire-Rescue

We’re grateful to be able to hold the 2021 Fire-Rescue conference in person this year at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center, University of South Carolina Alumni Center and at various off-site locations throughout the Midlands. To keep you and your family safe, the City of Columbia and individual locations are requiring attendees to adhere to health and safety guidelines. The specifics vary by location, but the following suggestions should keep you within appropriate requirements:

• Wear face coverings or masks inside buildings
• Maintain the CDC suggested physical distance of 6 feet
• Regularly wash hands with anti-bacterial soap for at least 20 seconds (hum happy birthday twice!)
• Stay home if you feel sick

Please note that these guidelines are subject to change as the CDC and individual organizations assess the health and safety risks of attendees. Continue to check back for updates as it gets closer to time for Fire-Rescue.
